Zinemaking Workshop - Make mini-comics and zines! with CreativeHowTo Location: Yoga Soup, 28 Parker Way, Santa Barbara, CA Date: Saturday, November 23 / 1-4 PM Cost: $35 in advance / $45 day-of / $25 each when you bring a friend Learn how to make mini-comics and personal story books! Zines (pronounced “zeens”) are small, self-published booklets that can be a great outlet for sharing your unique message. In this 3-hour workshop, we will be exploring the zine-making process from idea to production. Choose from many style options – including cut and paste, collage, hand-drawing, stitching and more. You may bring your own images, photos, poems, stories, embellishments or drawings to use – or you can collage with magazines that we will provide for you. We will supply basic materials – paper, sharpies, staplers, glue sticks, thread and needles, and scissors.
