‘Women On Corporate Boards’ - A Panel Discussion
Last year California passed Senate Bill 826, a law mandating that all public corporations in California have at least one woman serve on their board of directors by the end of this year. To celebrate this step towards gender parity in business and to explain what the law means to California corporations NAWBO Santa Barbara will host a panel discussion moderated by California State Senator Hannah-Beth Jackson and featuring: Kristen Miller, President and CEO of Goleta Chamber of Commerce; Betsy Berkhemer-Credaire, CEO Berkhemer Clayton Retained Executive Search and CEO 2020 Women on Boards; Karen Bogart PhD, President of Smith Bogart Consulting; Kathy O’Dell, CEO-elect Women’s Economic Ventures. The program will be from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. and will be followed by wine and cheese at the bistro on the hotel rooftop.
