Toys in the SanD Band at The Base

SATURDAY, JUNE 1, 2019 - TOYS IN THE SAND CONCERT AT THE BASE IN SANTA BARBARA Sandy Toye and her band, Toys in the SanD, will be performing at The Base, located at 116 Anacapa Street in Santa Barbara, on Saturday, June 1, 2019. Doors open at 7PM. The evening will be hosted by MC Halle Avioli, a local Santa Barbara personality who brings her style and wit to the evening. The music will begin at 7:30 pm with local singer/songwriter Jessie Hernandez doing an acoustic set. Sandy and her band take the stage at 8:15pm. In Sandy’s words: “Please allow me to share my music with you in an elegant, comfortable and intimate setting that is certain to leave you feeling great. I’ve taken what I love most about concerts and eliminated what I like least in my effort to create an concert environment like no other, enticing all the senses in a pleasant and memorable experience.“ There are two tiers of tickets available - general admission to the show is $35, and a VIP ticket including drinks and hors d’oeuvres is $75. ABOUT SANDY TOYE Sandy Toye is a singer/songwriter based in Southern California. A prolific writer, Sandy has a special talent for expressing feelings and experiences that others can relate to. Her writing shines a light on the unique and special in the everyday emotions of raising children, being apart from loved ones and finding the light and love in the world. The band, Toys in the SanD, perform Sandy’s original material around the Santa Barbara/Los Angeles area. As a group of incredibly talented, accomplished musicians, they come together to lend their unique flavor to Sandy’s songs for a set that’s upbeat, fun and soulful. Sandy’s songwriting career began when she was very young, but she had not realized that her writings would eventually lead to songs until a friend gifted her a microphone as a way of furthering her musical repertoire, which up until then had included piano, guitar and drums.
