Sunset Sessions with Swayló

Sunset Sessions is a weekly musical series hosted by the Hotel Californian in Santa Barbara, CA. Artists bring their best summer vibes to the Mirador rooftop where sweet tunes are played out against the backdrop of the beautiful Pacific Ocean and the mountains. On September 7, 2019 a very special session will be hosted by SWAYLÓ. Starting with rooftop yoga and meditation by Lizzie Aguirre + Marie Grujicic, the evening will flow seamlessly into SWAYLÓ’s ambient, nature-influenced house set. With a special guest performance from KOLE, this Session is not to be missed! Yoga and meditation will start at 4PM followed by the DJ performance from 6-9PM. Tickets are $15 before the event and $20 on the day of the event. About Lizzie Aguirre Lizzie Aguirre is the founder of Soulstice Yoga retreats and she has been featured on the cover of Austin Woman Magazine. In her sessions, she focuses on mindfulness, making meaningful connections, and getting a deeper sense of ourselves and our bodies. She aims to create space for those who come to her class whether it is to laugh and let go, to move with purpose, or to get their asana kicked. About SWAYLÓ SWAYLÓ Is more than an artist, an art collective, or an event series. SWAYLÓ is a movement and a mission driven initiative. SWAYLÓ fuses deep house beatz, tribal rhythms and hyphy hip hop instrumentals. The music is designed to be a sonic journey around the globe, representing sounds stemming from the folk music of Africa, the Middle East, Far East India, the Islands, the Dirty South, and Latin America - All embedded with the unified message: that nature is resilient. From the heartbeat to the noises of Mother Nature, the sound waves represent the elements, and the directions.
