Santa Barbara HIgh School Big Band Concert and Silent Auction
On Sunday March 18, 2018, from noon until 3 p.m. the Santa Barbara High School’s two jazz bands will perform at the Lobero Theater event tent in Santa Barbara to accompany a silent auction to fund the school’s instrumental music program and the jazz bands’ trip to perform at the Reno Jazz Festival in April. “It won’t be silent, but it will be swinging,” says the band’s director, Kearney Vander Sal. The auction and concert will be held in the tent behind the Lobero Theater at 33 E. Canon Perdido Street. Enjoy an afternoon of live jazz, free appetizers, and one beverage, including wine and beer. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for students. Credit cards and cash are accepted at the door and at the Lobero ticket office.
