Santa Barbara Farmers Market
Situated in the heart of Downtown Santa Barbara, our second largest weekly certified farmers’ market hosts 50-60 certified agricultural producers on a weekly basis, depending on the season. Thousands of locals and visitors gather on the open streets of the 600 & 700 & 800 blocks of State St. for our most festive weekly farmers’ market. Surrounding restaurants and bars are lively, and buskers line the sidewalks, all while our farmers offer their fresh harvests direct to the public. Opened in 1992, this is a very popular stop for some of Santa Barbara’s finest local chefs and caterers, who can be spotted pulling their wagons up and down the street.
Parking Information: There is ample parking accessible along Anacapa St., Haley St. and Ortega St., all within one block off State Street from where the market is located. You can simply follow the detour signs around the farmers’ market to find the entrances to parking lots 10 & 11. The first 75 minutes of parking is always FREE, and only $1.50 per additional hour in the city parking lots. There is also limited street parking in the area. Bicycle parking is available on State Street in the market vicinity.
