Optimism & Resilience
Free Community event for those affected by the Thomas fire and mudslides sponsored by the Northside Optimist Club and Zizzo's Coffee. Guest speakers include Evan Skei, Captain, Montecito Fire Dept., Kirsten Olson, PhD, Director of Academics & Staff Assistance program on post-traumatic growth: moving forward from traumatic events, Marilyn Berman, Director of Client Assistance at Home Care Assistance, on optimism & resilience and Yoga Instructor Mike Lewis on mindfulness and meditation. The Santa Barbara Bloom Project, represented by Daniel J. Wetmore, will also be on hand to provide seed packets for scattering on the hillsides affected by the fires. Sweet brioche bread & croissants have been purchased from Bree'osh, to help support the Montecito bakery affected by the mudslides. Price: Free
