Land Trust Treks

Join us for a hike with scenic views of mountains, ocean and grasslands while learning about the history of More Mesa. This 300-acre area just west of Hope Ranch has been one of the preservation community’s highest priorities for decades. The open space includes oak woodland and riparian habitat, popular with local birdwatchers, bikers and horseback riders. This 3 mile, moderate hike is mostly flat, but has some elevation so walking poles optional. The trail is exposed in most places with a few areas of shaded woodland and eucalyptus groves, with an option to walk along the ocean bluff. No dogs. No fees. No restrooms. Ample parking. Reservations must be made 24 hours in advance and cancellations require 48 hour notice. After registering, you will receive an email confirmation with the date and time of reservation and links to additional resources that may enhance your experience.
