Indigo Holiday Dye Bath
Join us for an Indigo Dye Bath on Saturday, December 17th, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm outside in the Art From Scrap parking lot. Bring new life to old items- do you have a white shirt that needs some color? Want to bring new life to an old tea towel? These materials and more are welcome. The cost is $5 per item. This is a drop in event open to all ages- you don’t have to sign up in advance. Stop by between the hours of 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Please pay for your items when you arrive. We’ll have a vat of plant-derived Indigo dye for natural fabrics like cottons, linens, silks, and wool. Materials will be available for creating Shibori patterns before dipping your materials in the color of your choice.
