Panelists Include: Rita McGaw –Santa Barbara County District Attorney Victim-Witness Program, Supervisor Lt. Brian Olmstead – Santa Barbara County Human Trafficking Task Force Lisa Conn – Santa Barbara County Behavior Wellness Resiliency Interventions For Sexual Exploitation (Rise), Supervisor Jeff Shaffer – Moderator Santa Barbara Alliance For Community Transformation (SB ACT) “Since January of 2017 Human trafficking Advocates from the District Attorney’s Office along with Special Investigations Detectives from the Sheriff’s Department and other Law Enforcement agencies have detained over 60 potential exploiters, recovered over 90 potential survivors, arrested more than 50 sex buyers and have opened 70 Human Trafficking related investigations.
