Morrisroe In a media-rich talk reaching from the depths of the Endeavor Hydrothermal Vents off of Vancouver Island to the deep-sea coral gardens of the Florida shelf, Edward R. Cassano (Founding Trustee and past Executive Director of SBMM) will describe the current state of deep-sea exploration using ROV’s. Cassano dives deep into the challenges and rewards of building and deploying complex deep-sea research equipment for science.
