Día de los Muertos Craft Day
In collaboration with the Mujeres Makers Market, SBTHP presents this free, family-friendly event commemorating Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead). All are welcome to this celebration of Indigenous and Latinx families, art, and cultures where you may partake in creating artwork such as paper skeletons, tissue paper flowers, and more. There will be a live performance, a Catrina contest, a face painter, a poet, and a community altar, where everyone is invited to pay their respects to our antepasados (ancestors) by leaving a photo. The Mujeres Makers Market takes place on site from 10am – 4pm, whereas SBTHP will be providing free arts and crafts from 11am – 3pm in the Presidio Orchard!
