AWC-SB to greet 2021 with discussion on Ruth Bader Ginsberg film & book

The Santa Barbara chapter of the national organization Association for Women in Communication will discuss the film “RGB” and book “Ruth Bader Ginsberg: A Life” at its next meeting, scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 6. The monthly meeting will be held via Zoom and the public is welcome. Joining the event are retired State Senator Hannah-Beth Jackson, who will share how Justice Ginsberg inspired her as a lawyer and a lawmaker, and Jane Sherron De Hart, author of “Ruth Bader Ginsberg: A Life,” and UCSB history professor emerita. Because the meeting is on Zoom, participants are encouraged to read the book and watch the film before Jan. 6. There is no charge for AWC-SB members; there is a $10 charge for nonmembers.
