Art Exhibition: RIVER by Michael C. Armour
RIVER is a collection of oil paintings and works on paper by Michael C. Armour. This exhibition explores important themes and subjects in Armour's body of work - horses, landscapes and seascapes, and abstractions to name a few. This is what Armour says about his process: "Art is mysterious to me. I am rarely able to remember the process of making it and I feel very little authorship of it. I can tell if I like it or do not, and can say why, but I cannot tell how it is mine, or of me." RIVER runs through March 14. Regular gallery hours at Silo118 are Thursday - Sunday, 12-5.
