The Downtown Santa Barbara staff is attentive, supportive and really cares about the well-being of our community and the survival of all businesses in the Downtown Santa Barbara area.
We look forward to live-entertainment, indoor dining, and the re-opening of all businesses in what we all proudly refer to as the "American Riviera." The Santa Barbara Coastal Candles Family
I have been attending the State Street Promenade from the very first week, back in November of 2020.
At first, I wasn't sure what to expect, but Amy and the rest of the team made us feel welcome and as part of the Santa Barbara small business family.
On the first promenade, we forgot to bring lights to decorate our canopy, and the staff quickly came to the rescue with several different lighting options for us to borrow.
During the four and a half hours of the promenade, someone was always checking on us to see if we needed anything, and to see how things were going.
I wasn't sure if we were going to get any sales, but that first day, I had a few sales, which was a pleasant surprise.
We have participated in every promenade, and plan on continuing as long as it's being offered.
The State Street Promenade feels like a family business gathering. We look out for one another, we all reach out to help others who might need help putting up their canopy, or watch their booths if they need to step away for a minute.
We even support one another by purchasing for each other or recommending them to others.
Although, some weeks are busier than others, we've all gotten some sales.
The atmosphere is peaceful, clean, and very friendly.
We are very grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this business family.

I am so thankful for the Santa Barbara Promenade. As a tiny, home business, participating in the Thursday Markets have exposed me to new customers, allowed me to better understand what people liked and didn't like about my products, and helped me begin to build my brand and increase my sales. The entire community is so supportive. As someone who is just starting out, other vendors have been generous with their time and expertise, and the staff at the market have been so helpful finding out what I need in order to participate safely and how they can be of service to me. The market is fun, supportive, and an overall amazing experience to be a part of.
